Thermal Spary Masking Tape

Plasma Thermal Spray Tape is made of silicone rubber combined with glass fiber cloth.The bottom layer is coated with high temperature silicone which is used for shielding protection of sandblasting, plasma, supersonic, flame, vapor deposition and other processes in special industries.Typical application is for turbine blade sandblasting spray masking of aerospace parts, since no glue will be left after removal.

Silicone rubber-coated glass cloth tapes offer a desired balance between multiple key properties. The silicone rubber layer aids in thermal spray coatings, bouncing off the masking tape while maintaining good conformability, moderate abrasion resistance and clean masking edges. These tapes are often used through grit blasting and thermal coating steps, eliminating the cost associated with reapplying another layer of tape.
